Individual Associate Membership

This lower-cost associate membership provides access to all NACAC’s digital resources, including the Bulletin member newsletter, Today in College Admission news headlines, and the digital version of The Journal of College Admission. Associate Membership does not include voting privileges or member discounts to NACAC programs and events. Professionals at both the secondary and postsecondary levels are eligible for this category, as are students, non-affiliated professionals, affiliate staff, and university system and school district staff.

Postsecondary Individual Associate Memberships – $125

Postsecondary members are professionals employed by colleges/universities whose primary work includes assisting students as they transition from secondary to postsecondary or between postsecondary institutions. These individuals must be employed by accredited, not-for-profit institutions. Those who fall within this category are able to join NACAC though an institutional membership whereby multiple staff members employed by the same college/university can benefit from membership or can opt for an individual membership that supports just one person.

A NACAC membership unlocks best in class opportunities and resources for community engagement and professional development. Secondary Individual Associate Memberships – $125

Secondary members are professionals employed by a school whose primary work includes assisting students as they transition from secondary to postsecondary education. Those who fall within this category are able to join NACAC through an institutional membership whereby multiple staff members employed by the same school can benefit from membership or can opt for an individual membership that supports just one person.

A NACAC membership unlocks best in class opportunities and resources for community engagement and professional development. Joining this professional association demonstrates a commitment to advocacy, ethics, and best practices in the field of college admission counseling. Community-Based Organization (CBO) Individual Associate Memberships – $125

Community Based Organization (CBO) and College Access Organization members are professionals employed by a CBO or College Access organization that provides counseling, admission, or financial aid services to students at the state or local level. Those who fall within this category are able to join NACAC though an institutional membership whereby multiple staff members employed by the same organization can benefit from membership or can opt for an individual membership that supports just one person.

A NACAC membership unlocks best in class opportunities and resources for community engagement and professional development. Joining this professional association demonstrates a commitment to advocacy, ethics, and best practices in the field of college admission counseling. A NACAC membership also adds value through a host of member-only savings on conferences, professional development opportunities, publications, recruitment events, and networking opportunities. University System Administrator and School District Administrator members are professionals employed by university systems or school districts. These professionals typically work with more than one school, college or university at the administrative level and are able to join NACAC under an individual membership that supports one professional.

Individual Professional Individual Associate Memberships – $125

Professional membership offers an opportunity to join NACAC for:

Students studying in the field of college admission counseling or financial aid

Faculty teaching in the field of college admission counseling or financial aid,

Staff members of NACAC affiliates

Non-Affiliated Professionals (a temporary membership reserved for individuals who were once employed at a member eligible organization but are currently looking for their next employment opportunity)
