Recorded Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026.
Join the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) for a conversation on what California’s long-running experience can teach us about strengthening admissions practices today.
This session will highlight findings from A Snapshot of Postsecondary Access and Opportunity in California, IHEP’s new research brief examining how California institutions have adapted their admissions processes since Proposition 209 effectively banned affirmative action in 1998. Panelists will share both research insights and on-the-ground practitioner perspectives, offering practical lessons for admissions professionals navigating evolving legal and policy landscapes.
The webinar will include a short presentation, a moderated Q&A, and resources for further learning. All are welcome.
