This year, there are four open positions:
- One chair-elect, to be elected by the NACAC Board of Trustees
- Three trustees, to be elected by NACAC voting members in the 2026 Annual Member Vote
Service on the NACAC board is an opportunity to expand your leadership capabilities, build meaningful professional relationships, mentor emerging leaders, elevate the visibility of your institution or organization, and contribute to the advancement of the association, the profession, and the students we collectively serve.

Chair-Elect Application Process
Required application materials include:
- Chair-elect Reference Form (to be submitted by the reference)
- Statement of Institutional Support Form (to be submitted by applicant’s supervisor)
All chair-elect application materials are due at 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 27.
*NACAC’s Board of Trustees will review the chair-elect materials and select the incoming chair-elect.
Trustee Application Process
Required application materials include:
- Trustee Reference Form (to be submitted by the reference)
- Statement of Institutional Support Form (to be submitted by the applicant’s supervisor)
All application materials are due at 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 27. The only exception is the Statement of Institutional Support, which is due at 5 p.m. ET on March 13 only for trustee applicants who advance to the interview round.
*The Nominating Committee will review the trustee materials and submit a slate of qualified nominees to the board for approval before the final slate is shared with the voting membership for election via the 2026 Annual Member Vote.
