Bylaws Updates

In addition to the election of board members, the Annual Member Vote inlcuded proposed bylaws amendments, all of which were approved.

They include:

  • Changing the Board of Directors to the Board of Trustees.
  • Affirming the board as the fiduciary body of the organization by having the board members elect the chair-elect, not eligible voting members.

We believe these amendments will continue to strengthen the organization’s governance model and ensure greater flexibility to meet the evolving needs of NACAC.
