Admissions Success Coaching SIG
The Admissions Success Coaching Special Interest Group brings together admission professionals who believe student success begins with admissions. The SIG fosters a collaborative community dedicated to transforming admissions from a transactional enrollment process into a student-centered practice that builds trust, cultivates belonging, and empowers students to make informed postsecondary decisions.
The SIG also supports the goals of the NACAC Center for Innovation in College Admission, including redesigning structures around the college application process and shaping the future of a healthy and diverse admissions workforce.
Through collaboration, professional learning, and the exchange of promising practices, the Admissions Success Coaching SIG seeks to:
- Advance coaching-informed admissions practices that support student success.
- Share innovative practices, resources, and research that strengthen student success from first contact through transition.
- Promote research-informed approaches to admissions success coaching, including Motivational Onboarding and other evidence-based practices.
- Support the professional growth of admissions professionals as coaches and partners in student success.
