Conference App
The GWI 2025 conference app, called NACAC Events, will contain the most up-to-date information on all conference matters including the full conference schedule, session descriptions and speaker bios, in-app messaging, Connections assignments (small group), and a venue map. To stay informed throughout the event, please ensure push notifications are enabled. We will be sending important updates, including any changes to session times or locations.
The conference app also includes your check-in QR code.
To download the NACAC Events app, please visit iOs or Android app stores.
Welcome Reception
The reception will take place on Tuesday, July 29 at 5 p.m. in Regency Terrace Foyer. The reception will include hors d’oeuvres and drinks. All attendees will receive two drink tickets during badge pickup/check in. Attendees can pay for additional drinks with cash or card. Drink tickets cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Handouts and Presentations
All attendees will receive access to conference materials (slides and handouts) via the mobile app. Please bring a notebook for note taking.
Connections (small group)
Your Connections group assignment will be indicated in the app.
NBCC/Continuing Education Credits
NACAC has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5242. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. NACAC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
CE-eligible education sessions have been clearly marked in the GWI app. They can also be found through the search function. To claim continuing education credits for eligible sessions, you must complete the session evaluation in the mobile app (NACAC Events) for each CE-eligible session you attend. Detailed instructions can be found through the app’s “More” page. Please note that access to the app expires on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). All CEs and certificates must be downloaded before then.
Photo/Video Protocols
This year, to ensure that GWI remains a safe space for all attendees, we discourage any photos or posts of attendees and presenters without their expressed permission.
Privacy Protocol (*NEW*)
If you wish to publicly share the information you have learned at this conference, we ask that you refrain from sharing the identity or affiliation of the speaker or participant you learned it from without their consent.
NACAC Code of Conduct (*NEW*)
NACAC is committed to providing positive experiences at NACAC events and meetings, whether in person or virtual, by providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all. For detailed expectations for attendee behavior at all NACAC events, please click here.
Accessibility and Special Requests
If you require assistance to fully participate in GWI, please know that your information has already been accounted for if you indicated your requirements during registration.
Dress Code
Attire at GWI is business casual. Wear comfortable shoes. We recommend dressing in layers as air conditioning is difficult to regulate in large facilities. Rooms may be overly warm or cool.
Hydration
With high temperatures, it is important to stay hydrated. We recommend that you bring a reusable water bottle with you. There will be water stations throughout.
Hotel Parking
Valet Parking – $60
Available in a protected underground garage. This includes 24-hour access to your vehicle with in/out privileges. Vehicles are picked up in the motor lobby, located on level LL3 of the atrium tower. Parking may be limited due to high demand.
Self-Parking
Although there is no official hotel self-parking, Hyatt guests may elect to self-park at designated off-property locations and enjoy discounted rates with no in/out privileges. As events in the city warrant, parking costs at non-Hyatt facilities are subject to change without notice. We do not recommend parking in any open, unsecured lots.
