When does registration for the 2020 conference open?

What is the GWI Cancellation Policy?
CANCELLATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS Cancellation and substitution requests must be submitted in writing. Guiding the Way to Inclusion refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee. - To receive a full refund (less processing fees), cancellations must be received on or before June 12. - No refunds will be processed for requests received on or after June 13 or for no shows. You do have the option of transferring (substituting) the registration. Transfer must be equal/lesser value to original order or additional payment may be required.
What are the official dates of the conference?
The conference begins with the Welcome Remarks and Keynote Address on Sunday, July 26 at 2:30 p.m. and ends on Wednesday, July 29 at 11:30 a.m. If you are registered for the Preconference Workshop, the program begins on Sunday, July 26 at 10 a.m.View the Schedule at a Glance.
How do I make a hotel reservation?
Hotel reservations at the Flamingo Las Vegas will made be via private link within the GWI Housing Block. Links will be made available in April of 2020. Attendees must book within the block to receive the group rate. We are unable to move outside reservations into the official housing block.Learn more about hotel accommodations.
Are there scholarships or discounts offered for the conference?
NACAC encourages attendees looking for financial assistance to attend the conference to apply for an Imagine Grant. The Imagine Grant process for 2020 conferences and programs is closed, but the application for 2021 will open in the summer of 2020.Learn more about Imagine Grants.

Are any meals included in my registration fee?
Yes. Breakfast is included Monday - Wednesday; Lunch is included in the hotel on Monday and a stipend is offered on Tuesday for an offsite experience; afternoon refreshments and snacks are offered on Monday and Tuesday; heavy hors d'oeuvres and refreshments are offered at the Welcome Reception on Sunday.
What is the recommended attire?
Attire at Guiding the Way to Inclusion is business casual. Wear comfortable shoes. We recommend dressing in layers as air conditioning is difficult to regulate in large facilities. Rooms may be overly warm or cool.
Will childcare be provided?
NACAC does not provide childcare services during GWI. Attendees requiring assistance with childcare should contact their hotel concierge.
