On Oct. 7, NACAC hosted a Dutch higher education delegation of university, ministry, and association leadership to discuss valid, equitable, and inclusive admission practices for selecting students. Dutch universities have recently moved away from a national lottery system of admission to a decentralized selection model where universities are charged with developing and carrying out procedures to select students.

From time to time, NACAC receives requests to meet with country delegations interested in engaging with our staff and membership on various counseling and enrollment management topics. In addition to NACAC’s Deputy CEO John McGrath, Director of Global Engagement Lindsay Addington, and Director of Research Melissa Clinedinst, NACAC members David Burge (George Mason University) and Andrea Felder (American University) shared valuable practitioner perspectives on the topic.
