I am thrilled to share with you the exciting news that NACAC membership has grown by 65 percent in the past year, despite the pandemic, and now totals more than 23,000 admission and counseling professionals representing more than 3,600 postsecondary institutions, high schools, and related nonprofit institutions across the globe.
With this dramatic growth, NACAC membership now means belonging to one of the largest higher education associations and all the strength of the network, community, advocacy, and professional development that comes with it.
This growth in membership during this tumultuous year, celebrated with additional details in this news release, has been a testimony to the spirit of commitment, impact, and continued learning that connects our members across every level of admission and college counseling in high school and higher education, as well as across NACAC’s 23 state, regional, and international affiliate organizations.
We hope you will continue to take advantage of the benefits of membership, and know that the best is yet to come. NACAC is undergoing significant transformation and will be creating new programming, services, member benefits, and experiences to serve members’ ever-evolving needs. Shantel Goodman-Luckett, our recently appointed inaugural Chief Experience Officer, is focusing on creating a best-in-class membership experience that supports your success as a college admission counseling professional.
Thank you for being a member of NACAC and for the pivotal work you do to guide and support students and families in one of the most significant decisions in their lives.
