The annual State of College Admission report, The Journal of College Admission professional magazine, the College Openings Update, the Fundamentals of College Admission textbook, and the NACAC Knowledge Center are just a few resources our members come to over and over again.
Our highly-valued tools and guides are easy to share with students and families.
The most popular resource is the application fee waiver form for students who are applying to college. Also shareable are the College Admissions Decoded podcast and the Step by Step: College Awareness & Planning for Families, Counselors, and Communities guide.

Advocacy and Leadership
“The world of college admission is never static, and it is my responsibility to stay current in order to be the best resource and advocate for my students. I am truly grateful for the action alerts, allowing my voice to be heard on national policies affecting our profession.”
NACAC amplifies the voices of our community.
Through NACAC’s policy initiatives, we speak together when it comes to federal, state, and local legislation that protect students and enhance their opportunities. Get involved by signing up for NACAC Action Alerts and join us on Capitol Hill for our annual advocacy meeting.
- Media Relations
Inquiries from the media present an opportunity to be part of the national conversation. Members are often called upon to reply to media requests to raise awareness about NACAC’s policy priorities.
- Leadership Development
NACAC offers numerous opportunities to become a confident leader and speaker.
NACAC is currently expanding our array of ad hoc committees, each with a high-impact, short-term goal. Your volunteer service on the board of directors, committees, and within affiliates are all some of the best ways to grow as a leader.
