Board of Directors Call for Candidates

The Governance and Nominating Committee is now accepting applications from those interested in being considered for a position on the slate of nominees for the NACAC Board of Directors election in 2021. Please note that, due to the recent approval of proposed bylaw amendments, for the first time all eligible NACAC voting members will be able to participate in this election.

Individuals interested in being considered for a position on the nominee slate must meet the new qualifications described in the Call for Candidates and complete the full application, which includes candidate biographical information, candidate reference forms, and an institutional support form. Please note that the application, biographical information, institutional support form, and candidate reference forms must be submitted by May 14, 2021. The Governance and Nominating Committee will review all applications and select the slate of nominees at its meeting in late May.

Positions to be filled include two board directors and the president-elect. Board directors serve for a term of three years. The president-elect serves a three-year presidential cycle, followed by an additional year as chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee. Any NACAC member who meets the eligibility requirements may submit their application and supporting documents for any of the open positions for the Governance and Nominating Committee to review.
