The Imagine Grants

The Imagine Grants are intended to provide assistance to individuals who might otherwise be unable to participate in professional development opportunities or to implement a new innovative program. Projects and programs funded by an Imagine Grant should serve as a role model to the profession. The NACAC Affiliates Presidents Council appoints an Imagine Grant Committee to oversee the program.

In their own words...

“I was honored to receive an Imagine Grant to attend Guiding the Way to Inclusion Conference. The Conference included 3 days of Plenaries, Breakout Sessions, and Small Group Sessions, all of which benefited me and-ultimately-will benefit students, parents, and colleagues with whom I work. I’m still digesting the conference content, but I can confirm there were many personal a-ha moments, and takeaways. Thank you for the honor.” - Grant for Professional Development, 2018 Guiding the Way to Inclusion

"The Iowa ACAC College Day/College Night (CD/CN) Committee is extremely fortunate to receive a Imagine Grant- College Fair Transportation Fund. Iowa ACAC sponsors a series of 36 college fairs in Iowa during the fall and spring recruitment periods. The programs bring together prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors, representatives from colleges and universities, and other postsecondary institutions. These programs aid the prospective students in their educational transition from high school and their college search process. The College Day/College Night Program locations are strategically planned to allow students, from every high school in Iowa, access to a college fair. The goal of this proposal was to provide transportation for students who may not otherwise be able to attend a college fair. It was a success!" - Grant for Special Project, 2018 College Fair

“The Imagine Grant funded my attendance to the NACAC Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event was AWESOME! I loved the fact that all presenters were open to connecting post-conference and sharing resources as well. My first NACAC experience was one to remember!” - Grant for Professional Development, 2018 National Conference
