NACAC and the Hilton Austin have negotiated a room rate of $169.00 a night for Critical Components conference attendees.  In order to receive​ the room rate, you must book within the Critical Components Housing Block.  The room rate includes free internet access in attendee guest rooms.

Parking: Self - $26, Valet - $35

Reservations can be made online by visiting the Critical Components housing portal provided by the Hilton.

 Directions and Transportation

​​The closest airport to the Hilton Austin is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

You can get to the Hilton Austin from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport by the following methods of ground transportation:
Cab: approximately $25
Super Shuttle​: approximately $13 each way​, make reservations online and use code HILTN for 5% discount off published online fare

The closest train station is the Austin Amtrak Station (AUS).

Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to (Austin, TX) between (May 23, 2015 – June 01, 2015).  To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Conventions cannot be booked via Internet.  Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X79V-923 when making your reservation.  This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service.  Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts.  Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

Dine-Around Dinners
Dine-Around Dinners are a great way to network and give conference attendees the opportunity to savor the cuisine of the area's favorite restaurants. NACAC will make reservations for Tuesday and Wednesday night, following the close of educational sessions.  Participants will be able to sign-up online a week before the conference.

Second Street District: A location where shopping, eating and entertainment collide, all just two blocks away from our host hotel.

The Texas Capitol: Visit one of the most recognized state capitols in the country during your time in Austin and learn a little more about its contribution to American history.
