Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

NACAC Events

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) issued by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) are available for the following NACAC professional development programs:

  • National Conference 
  • Leadership and Career Development Academy (LCDA)
  • Directing a Dynamic College Counseling Program (Directing)
  • Transitioning to Private Practice College Consulting Workshop (Transitioning)
  • Critical Components: Mastering the College Admission Process
  • Live Webinars

CEU instructions for these programs are administered to all individuals subsequent to registration.

NACAC Regional Affiliate CEU Requests
NACAC is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider and can grant Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to NACAC affiliate and partnering organizations for regional professional development events, according to NBCC procedures.

If you are interested in offering CEUs at your affiliate-level professional development program, please review the Continuing Education Units Request Guidelines.

Please note that the CEU Request Guidelines must be followed in full to retain CEU eligibility.


The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) is a National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP™) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. NACAC solely is responsible for all aspects of these programs.
