Loading/Unloading Entrance:
Exhibitors will be directed to the loading dock from 7:30am – 9:00am. Exhibitors will be instructed to unload and return to move their vehicles to lot D3 & D4. Parking in the loading area is prohibited.

High School Workshops
College Student Life: PGCC and UMD students
Town Hall A/B

Student Ambassadors from University of Maryland College Park and Prince George’s Community College will speak about their college life on their college campus.  They will describe the daily balance between what is expected of them from their professors and their personal interests. 

The Redesigned SAT Suite of Assessments: College Board

The SAT and PSAT/NMSQT have been redesigned to measure what evidence shows is most important for students to know and be able to do to be successful in the first year of college.  This session will provide an overview of the changes, including a look at the new scores and benchmarks.  We will also take a closer look at the new K12 Assessment Report Portal, the AP Potential tool and new resources developed to support student practice and improvement.

This dynamic cutting edge musical presentation will examine the cost of college with an emphasis on College Career Readiness. Participants will learn about the 10 Commandments for College and Career Readiness and how to cut college cost by 50%. Attendees will leave with thought provoking strategies that will leave them empowered.

This workshop will give you the information needed to be knowledge about the NCAA Clearinghouse and how it relates to you as a student athlete in high school.

How does social media affect your personal, social, and academic/professional life?  This workshop will focus on decision-making strategies and the outcome of those choices.

Poetic Justice: A Workshop on Self-Advocacy
9:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. or 10:25 a.m. - 11:35 a.m.

In a talk show format, students will have a chance to have an open discussion about validating feelings, and how and when to express them.
