The loading/unloading entrance to the Washington State Convention Center is the area referred to as the “South Hand Carried Freight/Small Vehicle Delivery”. South Hand Carried Freight (HCF) is located on aisle “G” of the main garage. Maximum height is 6’5”. The Hand Carried Freight elevator will be operated ONLY during the published Exhibitor Set-up and Dismantle hours. To expedite your work, the Convention Center has a limited number of flatbeds available. Carts are checked out of the HCF zone in the garage. Complimentary parking is available for loading/unloading in the garage only if you enter and exit within one hour. You can have your parking ticket validated at the HCF Service Desk.

Material Handling Charge*:
Cost is $49.25 per carton, minimum of two cartons, or $98.50. Make check payable to: GES Exposition Services. Please contact GES directly to arrange shipping. 
*Rates are subject to change. Contact GES Exposition Services for current rates. The Washington State Convention Center will not accept any exhibitor packages for the Seattle National College Fair. All materials must be sent to GES.

Shipping Deadline: Advance Shipments to the GES Warehouse should arrive on or between September 11th – October 12th, 2015.

Electrical services are supplied exclusively through Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services. Orders can be placed online here.

Come learn about the US higher education and admission process from college and university representatives and current international undergraduate students attending US institutions. Join your peers as you discuss topics such as:
  • Navigating a college fair
  • Communicating with university admission representatives
  • How to be an effective applicant
  • The application review process
  • Financial aid options for international students
Orientation: How to Make the Most of Your College Fair
12-12:30 p.m.
Meet with experienced counselors to discuss strategies for navigating the college fair and communicating with admission representatives.
International Student Workshops
12:45-1:30 p.m.
  • Overview of the US Admission Process
    Admissions officers from UCLA, University of Oregon, and Macalaster College (MN) will discuss topics such as the diversity of US college and university options and what institutions look for in international applicants.
  • Engaging Your Parents in the US Admissions Process
    Hear from current international undergraduate students attending Seattle-area universities to discuss tips for working effectively with your parents from afar in the US admission process.
College Fair
1:30-2:30 p.m.
Meet some of the 350 college and university admission representatives and discuss questions specific to your experience as an international student with counselors in the Counseling Center.
