Anna Griswold (9:28): Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Education and Executive Director for Student Aid at Pennsylvania State University. After witnessing the effects of the economy on student loans, Penn State decided to switch to Direct Loans before the President Obama signed the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act.  "We felt that would enable them to stay with one lender and not worry whether or not a lender they may have chosen would be leaving the program.”

Marlene Mohs (7:02): Associate Dean of Admission at St. Catherine University and a past president of MACAC. Mohs and the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling partnered with their state government to use College Access Challenge Grant (CACG) funds to supply underserved school districts with college counseling software. "I just found out that the grant was renewed again, so we have a couple more years to have this resource and work with the counselors, and we’re all really excited about it. It’s a really great opportunity for us.”

David Tandberg (6:57): Special assistant to the secretary of education in the Pennsylvania Department of Education. After securing CACG funds, Tandberg's office decided to partner with a program called Project Grad. "When I was considering coming and working in the department, one of the conditions that I had would be that I would have the opportunity to work and focus on college access issues.”
