Students' Rights and Responsibilities in the College Admission Process (Also Available in Spanish)

NACAC presents Students’ Rights and Responsibilities in the College Admission Process, a summary of everything students have a right to know from colleges and everything that is expected of them.

The U.S. government requires college representatives to present prospective students with information about their institutions and costs associated with enrollment. This guide outlines specific facts that students can seek out from college admission offices, including information about financial requirements, admission and campus security.

The guide also presents students with their rights and responsibilities before, during and after the admission process.
