2008 Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering to assist with the National Conference. The Call for Volunteers form is now available.
Volunteers are needed on the following committees:
- Counselors’ Preview Day Subcommittee – Assists with Friday events including the Counselors’ College Fair (CCF)
- Hospitality Subcommittee – Assists with hospitality, greeting special guests, ticket taking, and the NACAC information booth.
- Logistical Arrangements Subcommittee – Assists with daily logistical arrangement needs at all conference sites, including monitoring educational session rooms.
- Registration Subcommittee – Assists with the registration area. Volunteers will be needed beginning on Wednesday for this subcommittee.
- Special Events Subcommittee – Assists with aspects of the Welcome Reception and Saturday Evening Social events.
- Tellers Subcommittee – Assists with governance activities at Assembly and General Membership Meetings. Volunteers for this committee must be able to arrive at the conference before Wednesday morning.
You may volunteer for more than one committee; however, based on scheduling needs and overlapping responsibilities, you may be assigned to only one committee. You do not need to be from Seattle or Pacific Northwest ACAC to volunteer.
NACAC does not offer stipends of any kind to volunteers.
