Registration for the CCF is separate from registrations for the national conference; however, all booth personnel must be registered as national conference attendees in order to participate.

There are three ways to register for the CCF:

  2. Fax completed registration form (with credit card payment) to 703/373-2372
  3. Mail completed registration form (with payment) to NACAC National Conference Registration; P.O. Box 101117; Arlington, VA 22210

Payment must be received in full at the time of registration. Registrations received without payment will not be processed. Purchase orders are not accepted for the national conference.

NEW TIME!  3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

The Counselors’ College Fair (CCF) provides an opportunity for national conference attendees to share information, network with colleagues and meet representatives from more than 500 colleges and universities from around the world. This table-top exhibit helps strengthen relationships between secondary and postsecondary representatives.

What happens at the CCF?
Admission officers exhibit their marketing materials, such as applications, college guidebooks, institutional profiles, and viewbooks to college and high school advisors who, in turn, assist them in promoting their institutions and programs to parents and students when they return to the respective communities. Business is conducted as counselors criss-cross the busy exhibit area, gathering information from admission professionals on their respective institutions.

When and where is the CCF?
NEW TIME!
The fair is scheduled for Friday, September 26 from 3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. in the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. Attendance at the fair is open to all registered attendees of the national conference, and secondary school counselors are encouraged to attend.

Who may exhibit at the CCF?
Only regionally accredited colleges and universities registered for the national conference AND registered for the CCF may exhibit. High schools, independent counselors and organizations cannot exhibit. There are no exceptions to this policy. Only one table and two people per institution are permitted. Registration to exhibit at the CCF is required and is separate from registering for the conference and/or the National College Fair held in conjunction with the national conference.

All exhibitors are required to adhere to established NACAC guidelines. These guidelines include the following:

  • Arrive on time for the fair, and staff your booth during all fair hours.
  • Stay for the entire program. NACAC will follow up with schools that are no-shows.
  • Dress to best represent your school and wear identification with either your name or institution name.
  • Booths are restricted to two representatives per booth.
  • Recruitment and distribution of literature is restricted to the parameters of the booth.
  • Audio/visual equipment is not permitted.
  • Table displays cannot exceed 20” in height and may not impede sight lines of adjacent booths.
  • Keep the aisles clear of boxes and materials.
  • Promotional giveaways are strictly prohibited. Only literature pertaining to the college or university is permitted.  If you are not sure if an item is acceptable, please ask the NACAC representative onsite. The following are examples of prohibited materials/activities:
      • Key chains
      • Demonstrations (including those with live animals, food preparation, drawings/raffles, etc.)
      • Water bottles
      • T-shirts
      • Pennants
      • Bags
      • Food/ Candy
      • Competitions of any kind

Accredited colleges and universities must register separately for space at the CCF (attendee registration for the conference itself does NOT automatically register your institution for a booth). Registrations for the CCF will begin on March 17, 2008.  University and college attendees should verify onsite when picking up their registration materials if their institution is registered to exhibit at the Counselors’ College Fair (CCF).
