NACAC Members Urge Cosponsorship of Pathways to College Act

NACAC members are advocating for the Pathways to College Act by sending messages urging cosponsorship of the bill to Capitol Hill. The goal of sending 15,000 messages to federal legislators was announced at the annual NACAC Conference and is extended until it is reached. So far, NACAC members have sent 6,020 messages.

The NACAC Government Relations Committee is asking every NACAC member to participate! If you have not done so already, send a message to your senators and representative in only a minute through NACAC's Legislative Action Center. Encourage your colleagues and friends to participate in the action alert, as well.

NACAC is challenging each state and regional affiliate to participate in the Pathways to College Act action alert.  The affiliates whose advocacy efforts result in the most messages sent in relation to their NACAC membership will be publicly recognized.

The bar graph below highlights your affiliate's progress; blue bars indicate the number of action alerts submitted by your members and red bars indicate the action alert goal for your affiliate (calculated as percentage of NACAC members within each affiliate).

Michigan and Rocky Mountain ACACs have reached their goals. Way to go! The challenge is on for all affiliates to achieve their goals!
