Online Employment Ads

Post your job ads in NACAC's CareerCenter, a well-known resource for college admission professionals around the world. Ads rates start at $375 for members and $475 for non members. View all job ad packages.  Payment is done by credit card or PayPal.

Print Ads

A quarterly, print publication the Journal of College Admission is sent to 12,000 NACAC members. With a mission to support and advance the work of the association and college admission counseling professionals, the Journal of College Admission is renowned for providing members with lively, challenging discourse on issues relevant to the admission counseling field.

See the Journal rates for details on ad specifications, and submit the Ad Agreement Form to reserve your ad.

The deadlines to submit ads to the Journal are as follows:

  • Winter: November 1
  • Spring: February 1
  • Summer: May 1
  • Fall: August 1

Journal ads are printed in four color. See specs and rates below.

Ad specifications:

  • Full page: 8.5 x 11” with .125” bleeds 
  • Half Page: 7.5 x 4.75”
  • Quarter Page: 3.5 x 4.75”

Online Ads

NACAC’s e-newsletter, the Bulletin, is published 23 times a year. A password-protected member benefit, the Bulletin is available online to all NACAC members, keeping them up-to-date on the latest news in the profession and in the association.

List Rentals

Individuals, firms and agencies can request to rent mailing lists with NACAC member information to market products and services, conduct nonprofit research and to share professional information. You can purchase the entire list, or specify college/university or secondary school members. Special selections are also available, including national conference registrants. National Conference Exhibitors

Meet face-to-face with more than 5,500 NACAC members at NACAC’s national conference. Held in the fall, the conference allows organizations a unique experience to promote their organization and products to NACAC members. Exhibitor packages vary, but some the benefits include:

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What percentage of NACAC members work in secondary versus postsecondary schools?

    Of NACAC’s more than 11,000 members, approximately 50 percent are from colleges or universities; 39 percent are from secondary schools; and 11 percent are independent counselors, retired members and nonprofit organizations/agencies.

  • Do I have to be a member of NACAC to advertise?

    No, advertising is not restricted to NACAC members. However, all ads must be in professional relevance to NACAC members and are subject to approval.

  • I am a NACAC member. Do I receive a discount?

    No, there are no member discounts for advertising.

  • How do I submit my ad for the Journal or Bulletin?

    Email your ad to the corresponding contact email listed above. You can also mail CDs, addressed to the corresponding contact person, to:

  • What file type should I submit my ad as?

    For the Journal, send TIFF, PDF or EPS files with the images embedded. For the Bulletin, send GIF files.

  • Are NACAC ads net or gross?

    All NACAC ads are net. There are no agency discounts.

  • Will NACAC help me create my ad?

    Yes, NACAC staff members can help you create your ad for the Bulletin or Journal for a charge of $150 with the text and graphics you provide, additional edits not included. If you need help with your ad, be sure to contact the editor well in advance of the ad deadline.

  • When do I pay for my ad?

    After the ad’s publication, NACAC will send you an invoice and a copy of your published ad.

  • Will NACAC correct my typos or other errors?

    NACAC will make every effort to contact advertisers about potential problems. However, we are not responsible for typographical errors, printing errors due to the improper formatting of the advertisement or incorrect information.
